State Farm® committed to small business owners’ success

More than 70 percent of Americans live in – or close to – the town where they grew up. It’s that hometown feeling that makes them feel comfortable putting down roots and starting up a business. And it’s the hometown State Farm agent who will help them succeed throughout the lifecycle of their needs as a small business owner.

State Farm sponsored, and participated in, the Black Women’s Expo (BWe) held in August in Chicago. BWe is the nation’s longest running, most-respected, intergenerational exposition for Black women and their families. It’s where women gather to share ideas, search for solutions, and grow their businesses.

Chicago State Farm agent Demetrius Barbee attended the BWe as an agent representative at the State Farm booth and said, “I’m excited to be here kicking off the Black Women’s Expo! State Farm is here, we have the most beautiful, exciting booth, our customers are super engaged and really excited about seeing us and seeing all the vendors. It’s a great event for State Farm!”

As an exhibitor at the event, State Farm hosted the State Farm Hometown exhibit, providing small business owners – and those exploring small business – an opportunity to learn how the Company can provide a unique holistic experience for small businesses.
